This is the first sort of workshop like this that I have participated in. I am a new consultant who took quite a few tries to recruit. I am a full time coffee shop manager, mom of two, and wife. My days are quite busy. I love the Mary Kay experience and opportunity that it holds, but I also have other ambitions. My husband and I are planning to open up our custom cake business fairly soon. We can continue to do the same things and get the same results, or we can look at our communication skills and learn how do develop our skills. You can go work, recruit, hold classes, but if you’re not getting different results, then you need to fix your kinks. I have made some changes in my life around my career and daily coming and goings learning to listen to the other advisors and not the ones who drive me to drive myaelf crazy. What a revelation! I feel better already as I am creating a new comfort zone.
It's weird, but very freeing. My husband keeps asking me what's wrong because i'm responding to things differently and finally i had to try to help him understand that nothing is wrong with me, i'm just testing out listening to other advisors.

Wow! Amazing, validating, comforting and encouraging. I have been "stuck" for some time, attempting to struggle through, break through, and endure through personal limitations -- thinking that if I just 'gutted it out' long enough I would be able to change myself. If you're stuck, you should strongly consider Six Advisors because it helped me over a hurdle I had begun to think was insurmountable. Am I suddenly perfect? Without flaw or problem? No, but my perspective has been altered and I will never be the same again. I will be better. This is not a rah, rah, rah course.
